Question by STEPH D: Is a Zoo Med Rock Heater a great night heat supply for a Russian Tortoise?
He's not in a tank. He's in an open "rubber maid tub" with a big wired covering. The substrate is play sand, wood shavings and top rated soil. It is not humid at all. I like this habitat due to the fact it permits air to flow but I be concerned about the lack of humidity and heat.
